| Logline: When you can't quite kill yourself, try your local serial killer. When suicidal Pamela fails at dying, she resigns herself to life in the dead end town, until someone starts knocking off her neighbors.

| Synopsis: When it comes to the town of Why, Minnesota, you either leave it or die trying. Shyly popular Pamela was too afraid to strike out on her own like the rest of her high school classmates. So ten years later, when her mom drops dead, Pamela tries dying. But when guns, pills, trains, rope and even poisoned pastries fail her, she resigns herself to waiting out life in the dead end town. That is until someone starts knocking off her nasty neighbors in gruesomely appropriate ways. As the rest of the small town smirks at the victims’ well deserved fates and places bets on which wicked townsfolk will bite it next, Pamela plots to become the killer’s next victim. victim. As bodies stack up, a glory-hungry deputy rolls into town, with dreams of using this murder mystery as a stepping stone to become a hot shot detective. Deputy Ryan soon finds he has more of a mind for romancing the suicidal tendencies out of Pamela than he has a stomach for bloody crime scenes. The sarcastic local constable and the mocking townsfolk have no intention of letting Ryan’s inept investigation ruin their betting fun. But soon their laughter fades to fear when they realize they’re running out of people they hate for the killer to knock off. However, Pamela is closer to discovering the murderer’ s identity than anyone could have dreamed. As Pamela closes in, Ryan finds he might not be a good enough detective to keep Pamela off the victims list, let alone brave enough to catch the killer. |
