“This is a well written whodunit.
The characters are well fleshed out,
the mystery is a real page turner
and the over all ambiance of the
film is off-white and original. All

Synopsis:
When it comes to the town of Why, Minnesota, you
either leave it or die trying.  Shyly popular Pamela
was too afraid to strike out on her own like the rest
of her high school classmates. So ten years later,
when her mom drops dead, Pamela tries dying. But when
guns, pills, trains, rope and even poisoned pastries
fail her, she resigns herself to waiting out life in
the dead end town. That is until someone starts
knocking off her nasty neighbors in gruesomely
appropriate ways. As the rest of the small town
smirks at the victims’ well deserved fates and places
bets on which wicked townsfolk will bite it next,
Pamela plots to become the killer’s next victim.
victim.

As bodies stack up, a glory-hungry deputy rolls into
town, with dreams of using this murder mystery as a
stepping stone to become a hot shot detective. Deputy
Ryan soon finds he has more of a mind for romancing
the suicidal tendencies out of Pamela than he has a
stomach for bloody crime scenes. The sarcastic local
constable and the mocking townsfolk have no intention
of letting Ryan’s inept investigation ruin their
betting fun. But soon their laughter fades to fear
when they realize they’re running out of people they
hate for the killer to knock off.

However, Pamela is closer to discovering the murderer’
s identity than anyone could have dreamed. As Pamela
closes in, Ryan finds he might not be a good enough
detective to keep Pamela off the victims list, let
alone brave enough to catch the killer.
